Morristown, New Jersey, December 3, 2013 – Runnymede Capital Management has been named “Best Customer Service in Investment Management” for the second consecutive year at the US Captive Services Awards. The program is presented by Captive Review with the goal of recognizing service providers who have excelled over the past 12 months. Notably, Runnymede is only one of three firms that received the same award as last year, reflecting the changing landscape of the U.S. captive insurance industry.

Judged by a panel of captive owners and risk managers, the awards acknowledge excellence in the delivery and management of captive insurance and celebrate innovation, commitment and expertise in the captive insurance field. This year’s judges included Colin Donovan, vice president at STICO Mutual Insurance Company RRG, Michael Bemi, president and CEO at the National Catholic RRG, William Montanez, director or risk management at Ace Hardware, Mike Lusk, VP at Archer Daniels Midland Company, Jim Knutson, risk manager at Aircraft Gear Corp., Richard Mosher of Anderson Kill Wood and Bender, Robert Cartwright Jr., loss prevention manager at RIMS and Bridgestone Retail Operations, Diane Valencia, senior manager, global insurance at World Vision, Heather McClure, executive director of operations at OU Physicians, and David Schwartz, president at D.G.S. Risk Consulting LLC. The judges commented, "Taking out this award for the second year running, Runnymede is focused and committed to provide investment management services to its captives. With more than half of Runnymede’s assets under management being captive clients, the firm has established a reputation as providing knowledgeable and responsive customer service."

Andrew Wang, Senior Vice President at Runnymede, said, “We are proud and honored to receive the client service award because it recognizes so many people on our team - everyone from those working on investments, in operations, and our support staff. Because captive insurance clients often outsource typical 'insurance company' functions, we understand the importance of their service providers working collaboratively, and this comes through as superior customer service."
