Chris visits the Morristown Game Vault to talk with the owner David Balsamini who traded his vocation of pharmacy to follow his passion in retro video games. "I went from dispensing medicine to dispensing fun," he said. The Game Vault offers entertainment through classic video games like Donkey Kong, Spy Hunter, Pac Mac, and a slew of pinball machines. While it brings back memories of the 1980, you no longer have to feed quarters or tokens. Today, you play as much as you want on an hourly rate. The Game Vault also host events like pinball leagues and tournaments as well as birthday parties and private events.
Chris speaks with Eugene Onishkevich owner of Green Point Juicery with locations in Verona, Morristown and coming soon (September 2019) to Maplewood. Chris visits with Tony Franco, the youngest business owner in Morristown. He started Beenie's Ice Cream at the age of 26. Always a creative person, Tony went from a professional drummer to passionate maker of inventive ice cream flavors. Amanda Smith took a unique path from pastry chef to baking the highest quality dog treats to retail shop owner. As a dog lover herself, she and her fiance found the perfect location in Morristown and have quickly built a strong community of loyal dog owners. Amanda has a bleeding heart for rescue animals, being the proud mom to three dogs, and she has built close ties to the local pet rescues hosting adoption events and raising money for them as well.
